Another window will appear that will allow you to select the destination for nagaTool installation.

NOTE: The nagaTool installation program will create a directory called “nagaTool 2005” under the directory you choose for installation. Therefore you DO NOT need to manually create a nagaTool 2005 directory!

Use the explorer window to navigate to the directory where you want nagaTool to reside. Above the window, the text box will update in real time to show you the path where nagaTool will reside. Note, the path will always contain a nagaToolX (where the X in this name is replaced by the revision number e.g. nagaTool 2005 for revision 2005) directory under your designated path. Once you have chosen the desired path, click Next.

If you have a user customized material database in nagaTool that you would like to use with the newly installed version of nagaTool, copy the file nagaToolX \bin\ntMaterials_user.dat (where the X in this name is replaced by the revision number e.g. nagaTool 2005 for revision 2005) to the same directory in the new installation.

nagaTool Removal

Removing nagaTool from a workstation is a very simple two step process. To ease in removal, nagaTool was designed to reside entirely in one directory on the workstation. This directory will be entitled nagaToolX (where the X in this name is replaced by the revision number e.g. nagaTool 2005 for revision 2005).

To remove nagaTool from a workstation:

  1. If you have a user customized material database in nagaTool that you would like to keep for future use, you should make a copy of the file nagaToolX \bin\ntMaterials_user.dat (where the X in this name is replaced by the revision number e.g. nagaTool 2005 for revision 2005)

  2. Delete the nagaToolX directory from the machine. It will reside in whatever directory that it was installed. If the user is unsure where this directory resides, a search for the “nagaTool.lsp” will yield the path to the nagaTool directory.

  3. Using WordPad, Delete the load line from all pesd_customize files that reside on the machine. To find these files, refer to the  loading nagaTool instructions.
